Ewok is a DJ who started off as an MC on pirate radio in London. He eventually found himself purchasing a pair of second hand decks off of a friend (cheers Ben) and locking himself away in his room for some serious clanging sessions! After a while the clanging stopped and the mixing began and so did his legendary mixed tapes. This enabled him to weasel his way behind the decks at various house parties and pirate radio stations across north London. Soon Ewok decided to take his talents over seas and travel to Greece (Kavos) where he performed regularly at Crash Bar and Checkers. After a few years the garage was not enough for Ewok. So he decided to delve into the world of drum and bass. This was a major turning point for him as a new love had been born and the drum and bass life seemed to be a natural progression. He found a passion for mixing hip hop accapellas over drum and bass beats and soon started purchasing hip hop vinyl’s. In 2004 Ewok travelled to Thailand and managed to get a slot at the Orchid Bar, Ko Pang Yang, playing at 2 full moon parties and the weeks leading up to them. He was also a main attraction at The Reggae Bar in Kho Phi Phi (Thailand).Slowly Ewok began to realise that his love for beats had no boundaries and he was buying anything that he felt he could incorporate into his sets.

Today Ewoks vinyl collection ranges from the 1950's to the latest tunes he can get his hands on. Its mainly an eclectic mixture of musical genres that include Drum and Bass, Jungle, Funky House, Hip Hop, R&b, Ragga, Dirty House, Old school Garage, Electro, his parents vinyl collection form the 50's and 60's, Break Beat and general dance classics.

At the end of 2004 Ewok was making a name for himself in the London club scene and has since been playing at some of the hottest London nightspots. After completing his BA Combined Honours degree in Criminology and Sociology Ewok flew to Israel and DJ’ed at various drum and bass raves in Tel Aviv, mainly at Cafe Barzilay with INFUSE. He played Hip Hop at different night clubs that included Vox Club, Geya, Nadia Bar, Bar Giyora, Rocco’s Bar and now had a weekly residency at Loca on the beach in Tel Aviv. When asked what sort of music he is into Ewok is often found saying 'I don’t know. I just know what I like'. This year Ewok is studying at S.A.E (School of Audio Engineering) in London!
