Illatek started DJ’ing in 1999 and has risen among the ranks with hard work and endless dedication.
'My style is mainly RnB and Hip Hop with a touch of funky house/garage. I love playing old school swing, disco classics and funk/soul to get the people moving. I always try to bring something different to the mix and surprise people.'

Illatek is versatile and is comfortable spinning in exclusive clubs as well as student parties and underground raves. 'Crate digging’ for old school classics is a priority, and also I make a point of dropping brand new exclusives and breaking new tunes!'

Illatek has played alongside the biggest names in the scene including Spoony, Trevor Nelson, Semtex, G Child, Mix Master Mike, The Ill Kidz, and Shortee Blitz to name a few. In addition he has worked with unsigned artists as a live show DJ appearing on T.V on Network East, and has kept the crowd hyped up at fashion shows and talent competitions.
Illatek is part of a DJ collective known as Twisted Soul and when together they smash down raves dropping all styles. They love to entertain and during their 4 year residency at Aston Uni in Birmingham, they built a rep and established their trademark 'pole dancing competitions' and interactive style!

Radio has long been a passion and Illatek has been on the airwaves for over 7 years killing shows on Freeze FM, Manic FM.com, Unknown FM, Ouch FM, 2SG.Com, Urban Sound, BBA Radio, Invincible Radio and Bashment FM. Currently he hosts ‘The Breakdown’ on West London’s Westside89.6FM, where he drops the newest exclusives and the freshest interviews, every Wednesday 7-9pm.

Music is his livelihood and Illatek is deep in the scene and has written for music magazines and regularly interviews the hottest artists on his radio shows. Previous guests include: Cassidy, Sean Paul, Brandy, Joe, The Alchemist, Shystie, Nathan, Tia Jean, Jay Sean, Marques Houston, Faith SFX, N Dubz and Kevin Michaels.
As an official Warner/Atlantic Street Team DJ he has been apart of promotional marketing campaigns for Twista, Sean Paul, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Craig David, Lil Kim, The Streets, Little Brother, Brandy and more.
