DJ MJ has longed to be a DJ since the age of 11. This burning desire came through his great love of all things dance. One style really gave him the passion that has marked his successmore than others, RnB. It was the unique combination of funky beats, heart pounding bass and sexy vocals that really inspired MJ to want to don the decks and tear the roof off clubs everywhere. With that, he started to buy vinyl’ sand save for his first set of decks! Illatek started DJ’ing in 1999 and has risen among the ranks with hard work and endless dedication. 'My style is mainly RnB and Hip Hop with a touch of funky house/garage. I love playing old school swing, disco classics and funk/soul to get the people moving. I always try to bring something different to the mix and surprise people.'
Illatek is versatile and is comfortable spinning in exclusive clubs as well as student parties and underground raves. 'Crate diggin’ for old school classics is a priority, and also I make a point of dropping brand new exclusives and breaking new tunes!'...more

JAMES LEWIS AKA DJ LJ is a Dj, from the UK, and is mostly recognised for his soulful/funky selections, and his way to cross boundaries, between genres. Since an early age, Lj had a personal passion for the music industry, and originally started by learning the skill of performing on a five piece drum kit. This is most definitely where his love for beats and percussion started. At secondary school Lj was the only qualified drummer within his year, and played at many school festivals and functions, which soon led to a master class with Jeff Rich (Status Quo). Ewok is a DJ who started off as an MC on pirate radio in London. He eventually found himself purchasing a pair of second hand decks off of a friend (cheers Ben) and locking himself away in his room for some serious clanging sessions! After a while the clanging stopped and the mixing began and so did his legendary mixed tapes. This enabled him to weisel his way behind the decks at various house parties and pirate radio stations across north London. Soon Ewok decided to take his talents over seas and travel to Greece (Kavos) where he peformed regularly at Crash Bar and Checkers. After a few years the garage was not enough for Ewok. So he decided to delve into the world of drum and bass...more
